The KILR Retroparticles for Adherent & Suspension Cells (Hygromycin B) are MMLV particles designed to transduce adherent and suspension cells respectively. This allows production of ProLabel-tagged, hygromycin B-resistant target cells of interest for use in cytotoxicity assays involving detection of cell lysis. This product uses EFC technology. The retroparticles mix can be used to transduce target cells with a ProLabel-tagged housekeeping gene. Target cell death in a cytotoxicity assay will release ProLabel to the media, where EA contained in the detection reagent will produce EFC signal. These retroparticles ship as 2 vials each of cryopreserved adherent and suspension retroparticles.
